I take the Same problem with my Kindle Fire HD Charging Port. I purchased the product in July 2019. Thank goodness I purchase the Square Trade Warranty. As of today, Nov 8, 2020, my THIRD REPLACEMENT is on it's way. So that makes FOUR: the original and 3 replacements! Obviously this port for Kindle Fire Hard disk drive's is "faulty". I actually believe this product should be recalled. Amazon: are you lot listening??? Very unhappy about this

All charging ports can go loose with wear. My 10 is the first I've owned to have this problem and i've owned MANY. Frustrated in the middle of the night with a dead kindle, I found a solution that works very well. Cutting two tiny strips of masking tape just nether the width and acme of the male charging head and lay them one on top of the other on top of the charging head. This gives the charging caput purchase to lodge into the port. In the morning a kindle that would not accuse unless I held the cord at some crazy bending was 100 per centum full!!

I take had so many kindles go bad at around one year; then when this one quit charging at month x, I was excited because I thought it was under warranty. Non so, this model just has 90 days. I did purchase the extended warranty with this most recent Kindle Fire, and then I was able to go a replacement, simply this will be my Last kindle. The quality is terrible and Amazon should be ashamed. I have a box of dead kindles ready to have to the electronics recycler. I will read on my ipad when this one dies. I am diverting my business abroad from Amazon where practical to do so.

My six yr old generation 3hd died slowly last year due to loose USB port. I got a new model simply prefer my onetime broken one. I happened across an eBay site for kindle USB ports. A guy in California repairs kindle ports for about $25. I mailed mine off and got it back in near a calendar week, like new! Information technology is worth the reasonable repair cost ( plus my priority postage stamp) to have my sometime friend back..

I am using my 4th Kindle. The only reason I got some other 1 was that it was given to me. Every unmarried one has the same problem happen to the charging port. I will never buy another one. I was determined the port would not become messed upwards on this i but it has. I think I have had this one ii years. It seems to me that over the last 10 or and then years this problem would have been fixed. Very disappointed in Kindles.
